Teaching

Dr. Vasquez specializes in teaching introductory biology for freshman, general physiology (human organ system focused) and lab, and comparative physiology and lab at Loyola Marymount University. Her teaching pedagogy includes active learning techniques like think-pair-share, small discussion groups, in-class worksheets, and lecture practice questions where students answer using colored answer cards.
